USAF THUNDERBIRDS ARRIVE AT COCOA BEACH PIER TO SIGNAL
OPENING OF "AIR FORCE WEEK-2010" IN COCOA BEACH

This afternoon at approximately 3:30pm, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbird arrived in Cocoa Beach to signal the opening of "Air Force Week-2010 in Cocoa Beach". Four of the F-16 Fighting Falcon jets made an appearance along the Cocoa Beach shoreline and near the Cocoa Beach Pier, the site of the opening ceremonies and several Air Force static displays.

According to the schedule published on the website http://www.cocoabeachairshow.com,
activities include a "free" open to the public "Air Force Reserve Party" at the Cocoa Beach Pier featuring the 920th Rescue Wing CSAR demonstration starting at 6:00pm.

On Thursday, the Thunderbirds will conduct a "practice show" along the shoreline (show center at Lori Wilson Park) beginning at 2:00pm. Spectators should be able to see the aerial acrobatics from just about anywhere on the beach.

Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
