My husband Ray and I love summer time in Cocoa Beach. During the last 2 weeks, the skies have been clear and very blue and the ocean has been a wonderful temperature for swimming. Ray enjoys body surfing. I believe the salt water is very healthy. It is a wonderful alternative to swimming in our pool.
We do have a rainy season in Cocoa Beach which normally begins in May and ends in June or July. This year it started later and ended later. During rainy season, every day the clouds roll in from the ocean and the day trippers clear off the beach. Then the sun comes out again!

Summer Time at Cocoa Beach
We love going to the beach. We take chairs, cooler and an umbrella and spend a relaxing few hours watching the waves (and playing in them too).
Everytime I am at the beach, I think about how lucky I am to be able to just grab a few things and within minutes be on the beach. I do not miss all the planning, travel and expense I went through to get to a beach when I lived up north.
